2012 S.M. YOUTH STAR AUDITION

Korea, USA, China, Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Australia

From July 28th 2012 to September 1st 2012, '2012 S.M. YOUTH STAR AUDITION' will be held in 7 countries and 12 cities among Korea, USA, China, Japan, New Zealand, Canada and Australia.

The Audition is open to the ages of those ranging from 8 to 20 years old (within 1992~2003).

All Nationality and gender are welcome. We welcome all the hopeful Youths from around the world.

KOREA: July 28th & August 19th, Seoul

USA: July 29th, LA / August 4th, New York (New Jersey)

CHINA: August 7th~8th, Beijing / August 12th, Shanghai

JAPAN: August 9th, Fukuoka / August 19th, Tokyo / August 22nd, Osaka

CANADA: August 28th~29th, Toronto / Aseptember 1st, Vancouver

NEW ZEALAND: August 29th, Auckland

AUSTRALIA: September 1st, Sydney

How to apply

Please submit an e-mail application (with the exception of AOL or AIM mail)

We will send a confirmation e-mail indicating the audition time & location. Only person who get our confirmation e-mail can participate our audition.

How to Prepare for the Audition

1. Singers will be asked to sing a cappella without a microphone. Both cover and original songs are allowed to be sung. (Up to 2 min)
2. Those applying for 'Dance' are not allowed to bring their own Audio CD. We will prepare a CD beforehand, and Dancers will be asked to freestyle to the track. (Up to 2 min)
3. Commercial Models should prepare commercial acting and various poses beforehand.
4. Actors/Actresses will be asked to memorize scripts / monologues beforehand and perform it on stage. (Both original or produced works are allowed)

• The applicant may participate at any one audition venue. Please write the city and date that you can attend.
• Outstanding contestants selected from the audition will be given the opportunity to sign an exclusive contract with S.M. Entertainment.
• All costs to debut as an entertainer will be sponsored 100% by S.M. Entertainment for the final contractors.
